Word Order

The formation of questions follows the QASI rule:

Q A S I
Question word Auxiliary Subject Infinitive
What do you do?
Where do they live?
Where are they?  
How many people does he know?
How much does it cost?
How old are you?  

N.B. The verb 'to be' does not have an auxiliary verb.
